Great Morning!

11/3/11

I woke up this morning, after snoozing a lot, checked my emails, checked my Facebooks (personal and teacher), and was greeted with this message from a very intelligent student who chose to leave our school after last year:

Dear Ms. ____
I miss your class. Love it. All year. I love everything about it. you were always there to support the whole class whenever. I learned so much about including apposatives in sentences. Probably favorite part for some reason. Also, I got much better at writing in general and I want to thank you for that. (: I miss you. My new teacher teaches differently. In a more “olden-time” way. Like they taught the older people. Anyways. Just a thanks!
With love,
Your old student,
_________ ________

Great way to start the day…..with a commitment to incorporate appositives into my lessons soon, and a rejuvenation of the desire to not teach like “olden-times”, lol :)
